Blood Pressure Monitoring Service
Description - The Provider
will offer 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) to adult
patients over the age of 18yrs who fall within the following categories:
• Patients whose clinic blood pressure is 140/90mmHg or higher to confirm
the diagnosis of hypertension.
• Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of hypertension who are identified
as having ‘white coat effect’ and who therefore require ABPM for the purposes
of reviewing their response to medical and lifestyle treatment/management.

Communicator Guide
Service
Description - They are
seeking expressions of interest from suitable organisations for the provision
of a ‘Communicator Guide Service’ to support sensory impaired service users
across the County of Staffordshire by suitably trained and qualified
‘Communicator Guides.’ They would support service users either in their home or
elsewhere within the County in accordance with their personalised individual
support plan to achieve their chosen outcomes. For this service, qualifying
persons would have dual sensory impairment, or physical disabilities which
include dual sensory impairment or health or age related problems and have been
assessed as capable of benefiting from the service.
