New Contracts Today

Every day, we are going to try and give you an idea of what Health and Social Care contracts are available; we'll give our 'top 3' opportunities and list the rest.

Top 3
It happens to be that my top 3 today also happen to be the only ones of any real interest, they are:

  • Hertfordshire County Council - Child Weight Management Service
    • Description - The Council is commissioning a service provider to design and deliver an access 2 lifestyle weight management service, which supports children to reach and maintain a healthier BMI
    • Length - 19 months
    • Value - £1m-£5m - although unclear whether total contract value or per annum value
    • Deadline - 21st May 2014

  • North Yorkshire Council - Advocacy Services for Children and Young people
    • Description - The Council are seeking to procure Advocacy Services for children and young people in North Yorkshire, in line with the National Standards for the Provision of Children's Advocacy Service and ‘Get it Right – Providing Effective Advocacy Services for children and young people making a complaint under the Children Act 1989'.
    • Length - 5 + 3 + 2 years
    • Value - £700k
    • Deadline - 25th June 2014

  • London Borough of Barking and Dagenham - Castle Green Day Nursery Services
    • Description - The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is advertising to seek tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to take on the operation of Castle Green Day Nursery Services. The selected organisation will be expected to work with Barking and Dagenham Council to ensure the provision of good quality and affordable childcare in its Goresbrook ward. Castle Green Day Nursery provides care for approximately seventy five (75) children within an age range of three (3) months to five (5) years.
