Tip of the Day - Win Themes

When you are planning what your vision and strategy is for a bid, it can often be helpful to come up with a number of win themes.  Depending on the size of the bid I would suggest three or five.  The point of the win themes is to essentially hang the bid on them – these are the features that really make your bid stand out.

Where possible, mention these win themes in one way or another in every question you answer.  I understand this isn’t necessarily possible when talking about things such as HR and IM&T, but even if it you can fit in a small reference to a win theme it would be helpful.

Win themes can be as broad or specific as you like, as long as you can talk about them for long enough in the bid!  Example win themes could be:
·         Accessibility of your service
·         Quality / uniqueness of training you offer
·         Experience in the service, or a specific element of the service
·         Innovation, or a particular innovation

·         Cost savings
